Bedtime Conversations

I was laying (or is it lying? I think laying) next to Eva last night, talking before bed.

Me: I wish I was you.
Eva: Why?
Me: Because you get to go to sleep.
Eva: Do you want to go to sleep now?
Me: Oh yes!
Eva: Are you tired?
Me: Oh yes!
Eva: Because moms do a lot of work?
Me: Yes. Are you going to be a mom someday?
Eva: No, I'm going to be a pirate. (thinks for a few moments) And then I'll be a mom.
Me: Are you going to have kids?
Eva: Yep, but no babies.
Me: Why no babies?
Eva: Because they stink!!
