Andrew took Sophia out on a "date" last night. He had told her earlier that morning that he wanted to take her shopping to pick out a birthday gift for Mommy and that is all she talked about all day. She kept asking, "Eva's not going right? Eva's staying home with you right?"
As soon as he got home from work he whisked her away - they had dinner at Arby's, then to Kohl's, then to the "Orange Store" - her name for Home Depot. Hopefully my gift came from Kohl's and not Home Depot. :)
Upon arriving home, he made two bowls of ice cream for them. They went down to the basement and wrapped my presents together and ate their ice cream. She was on Cloud 9 all evening! It just thrills me to see the bond they have, and see how much Sophia adores her Daddy. He said he had a lot of fun hanging out alone with her too!

So cute! I love how she had to make sure Eva wasn't going too. :) Yes, hopefully they didn't get you a power drill or something like that, but even if they did, I guess it was bought with love!
That's adorable. I'm jealous. Andy's such a great Daddy...I miss you guys.
