No, they are not Sophia's new preschool friends. If you live anywhere on the East Coast you know that these are the 3 hurricanes bearing down on us over the next week. And wouldn't you know we chose this week to travel down to the Outer Banks, NC - directly in the path of Hanna, and maybe the other two as well!?!
We will be leaving tomorrow to travel to a hotel in Virginia to wait out the storm. It's supposed to hit NC sometime late Friday to early Saturday. Hopefully we'll be able to check in early on Saturday and by then Hanna will have passed and we'll focus our attention on Ike. Ike - please - stay away!!!
So ... pray for us! Whatever happens, it will be an adventure I'm sure!! I'm just hoping the girls get a few days of good sandcastle building and wave jumping because they've been looking forward to this trip all summer!
