First, our trip to Tennessee (is that right? It looks like way too many double letters) in June to see PawPaw (my dad) and MawMaw (Becky).
It ended up being a 9-10 hour car trip, due to the many stops for eating, playing, and pottying. Here's some daddy/daughter bonding time at a rest stop somewhere in VA.
As soon as we got there the girls jumped in for a swim.
An attempt to eat out at a nice restaurant. The meal was fabulous, the waitress very patient, Sophia behaved herself....Eva was the wild card. Finally she amused herself with a plastic cup, straw, and water. Needless to say we had a semi-quiet last 16 minutes, albeit a very wet child.
Trip to Gatlinburg (aka tourist trap!). We had fun though, and it probably would've been much more fun sans toddlers. You can see we wore Eva out by lunchtime. After lunch we headed to the aquarium, which was fabulous. For some reason those pictures failed to upload...you'll just have to come over to my house to see them!
My bro and his beautiful girlfriend.
Eva trying out my dad's lawn mower (don't freak out - it wasn't on).
Again, don't freak out and report me. It was about a 10 second trip from the driveway to the backyard in order to transport some tree-planting supplies.
Eva digging a post hole, making her daddy proud!
Sophia resting with two of her favorite people.
Where we spent most of our time.
Sorry so small! Here's the whole group of us.
Thank you Dad and Becky for a wonderful visit!!!
