Two Sophia Funnies

Sophia hates it when I laugh at her (she gets embarassed easily!) but I just couldn't help it today!

1) Her newest thing is asking where everything comes from. For example, Where do peas come from? Where do cars come from? Where does salt come from? Where do oranges come from?

We were making dinner tonight and I was slicing up some sausage for soup. She was standing on a chair next to me and asked, "Mommy, where does sausage come from?" I said, "Pigs," fully expecting the confused look on her face. After a couple seconds of contemplation, she asks, "Well, where do parrots come from?" Poor thing thought we were putting parrots in our soup!!!

2) Sophia and Eva are playing in the playroom and Sophia runs out, "Eva's in trouble - she's climbing the kitchen!" Sure enough, Eva had climbed up onto the play kitchen's counter and was stuck, yelling "Help! Help!"

I got her down and turned to go back to washing the dishes.
Sophia says: We'll have to get rid of her before she does that again
Me: Oh really? How should we get rid of her?
Sophia: Let's try tickling her!!
