Of course we had to have the Disney Princess Egg Dyeing Kit this year, so here are our two little princesses modeling their paper crowns (later ripped in half by Princess Eva).
Later when Little Miss Imp was otherwise occupied, Sophia, Daddy, and Mommy made Resurrection Buns. Unfortunately this is the only picture I got! We read the Easter story with her from the Children's Bible too.
Ingredients:
frozen bread rolls
large marshmallows
cinnamon-sugar mixture
butter (melted)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.
Take bread dough rolls (thawed) and flatten with hands.

Take 1 marshmallow and place it in the center of the dough.
Now "fold" the dough around the marshmallow, pinching to crease seams.
Dip the ball of dough in the melted butter and then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until covered.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Cover with wax paper and let rise overnight.

Bake at 325 for about 10-15 min. or until golden brown.
Allow buns to cool. The buns which were full when they went into the oven will now be empty -- just like the tomb where Christ was laid!
Consider reading the Easter story aloud while enjoying these seasonal treats.
