OBX Day 1 and 2

Well seeing as how I went a little (okay, a lot) photo crazy and took over 300+ pictures, I am going to have to share them in stages. So here is a short run-down of our first two days.
This is how we made it to the beach every day - Eva packed up in the back of the wagon, surrounded by toys, towels, sunscreen, and various other items (the little white hat in the picture actually has a little body underneath). After a short walk to the beach each morning around 9:30/10, the kids got to work building sandcastles and jumping waves while the adults tried to keep everyone alive. No, seriously, we did get to relax some and took turns keeping an eye on the kids.

Eva's first few minutes...

This child had NO FEAR. Just minutes after our arrival she crawled right into the ocean. If we hadn't been there to rescue her she would've swept right out to sea and loved every minute of it.

Relaxing back at the pool.

The trip was FABULOUS. Every single day was sunny and in the 80's. The kids got along great and all took naps at the same time every day. We each had a date night out alone while the other couple stayed home with all the kids. Every night we ate like kings and queens, thanks to Let's Dish! This was probably one of my all time favorite vacations.

More pictures to come tomorrow.
