Strawberry Picking!

Last Saturday we woke up early. Well, let me rephrase that. We were woken up early by Sophia who came into our room yelling, "It's seven!" We recently bought her a clock and taught her that she cannot come out of her room until the first number says 7. As I groggily picked my head up from my ever so comfy pillow I realized that yes indeed, it was 7:00 on the dot. She had me there.

So anyways, since we were up so early we decided to go to Panera for breakfast and then go strawberry picking. We had a blast with Sophia last year, not to mention the yummy jam we enjoyed all year long! She loved the tractor ride out to the field and she got her own little basket to fill up. She did her share of filling her belly too. Daddy was the trooper and ended up doing most of the picking. Eva happily watched from her backpack. And I am happy to say my freezer is stocked with 21 cans of strawberry jam!
